We selected this fixture for our small, low-ceiling foyer, and it is beautiful and elegant. It is very compact - perfect for the small space - and gives off a surprising amount of light, with lots of sparkle and beautiful shadows. Assembly was easy but a bit time-consuming. Each crystal comes individually wrapped in plastic, and there are lots of them. They must be screwed into the fixture one by one. The package includes a pair of cotton gloves which are great for preventing fingerprints when screwing in the crystals and for handling the halogen bulbs, also included. There's lots of unwrapping in the assembly process, so it helps to have two people working together. You also need to be careful when you screw in the crystals. My husband inadvertently stripped the threads on one of the crystals and had to glue it into place. So far the glue is holding. We love the simple clean lines and elegant look of this fixture. It makes a classy first impression when guests come through the door.
