I got the 3.25w version of this LED for a murphy bed. The intent was to get a long-lasting, low-heat, swiveling light source appropriate for reading. Halogens were too hot, few LEDs swivel and most LED solutions have too few lumens (which is the light measurement you want to inquire about - not watts). This 3-in-1 baby packs a punch. It casts enough light to illuminate a book, swivels 30 degrees,which is enough to angle for reading purposes, is low-heat (in case someone accidentally leaves the lights on and closes the bed) and is long-lasting. For the record, you require the driver (LED-DR12-350 - Hardwire 12w LED Driver) and the connector (LED-CON2-350 - Power Connector with Two Ports). Overall, very satisfied with this lighting solution and highly recommend it!
