Purchased these as living room sconces. They look nice. Not real bright but does the trick, especially since it provides both up & downlighting. Really like the color of the lighting-- it's not yellow...

Very nice sconces. I positioned them pointing up and they look great. The mottled glass adds a modern touch to a classic design.
